What We Do

Marquees are usually only considered for formal, large functions. But what about backyard events? Rain, hail or shine, a small marquee in your backyard gives shade, a dance space or simply an area to serve food and drinks out of the elements.

At a recent engagement party, one of our couples hired two 6 x 6 metre marquees to place in their backyard. One served as the dancefloor, conveniently covering the jukebox in case of bad weather, and the other was to shade the bay marie so food could be served out of the elements.

Not only did they serve a functional purpose, but they also made the venue (our beautiful couples’ house) stand out for the people arriving from out of town. One of the groomsmen commented that “we never would have found it if we didn’t see the two marquees at the back!”.
